BASSETT FAMILY PRACTICE IS HERE TO HELP!
NEW HOURS: 7am to 7pm, Monday - Friday

In addition to being a federally qualified healthcare center, providing many services commonly found in a primary care physician's office, Bassett Family Practice is also home to the local Project Connect Outreach worker, who can assist you with the application or renewal process for the FAMIS plans.

The Commonwealth of Virginia offers several insurance plans to help your family with low to no cost health care coverage for your child(ren) birth to age 19. These plans are referred to as the FAMIS plans. These are comprehensive plans that cover doctor visits, hospitalizations, immunizations, prescriptions, dental, vision and more.

Since 2008, the Martinsville/Henry County Project Connect has helped over 800 children successfully obtain or renew FAMIS or FAMIS Plus

To schedule an appointment for a new patient visit for your child or for more information on the FAMIS plans, please contact:
