3rd Annual Festival of Trees Fundraiser for The Starting Place

Smart Beginnings Martinsville & Henry County and Piedmont Arts Association are proudly sponsoring a special holiday exhibit called Festival of Trees. . . and More. This exhibit will feature beautifully decorated holiday trees, wreaths and gift baskets donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. All items will be auctioned at a gala event on December 1, 2011 with proceeds benefiting The Starting Place, an early childhood resource center dedicated to preparing our young children for school and lifelong success.

Smart Beginnings is inviting the community to participate in this holiday event by donating a decorated tree, wreath or themed gift basket. All creations will be on exhibit at Piedmont Arts Association the week of November 28th, with the Festival of Trees Gala and Auction held December 1st beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Special prizes will be awarded for the Most Original Tree and the People's Choice based on votes.

Join us in celebrating the holiday season and show your support of early childhood education in Martinsville and Henry County by participating in this special exhibit and auction. Together, we can help ensure all our community's children are ready for school and ready for life.
